frp lock stops *#06# from working

Hi guys i thought i'd let you know that with p30 pro (kirin 980) running emui11.0.0.147 if the phone is frp locked and you dial *#06# it will say: "call could not be made. *#06# is not an emergency number."

I removed the frp lock and now dialing that number shows the imei and the phone can send/receive calls, i checked the imei here too and it wasn't lost/stolen: https://imei24.com/blacklist_check/

I thought i'd let you guys know as i had to remove the rear case to put in hard testpoint as i assumed the imei was blocked. I could have just bought an frp lock code and used a different program and not remove the rear case if i had known this. I hope you learn from my mistake.
