WARNING: P20 pro, mate 20 pro etc

i got a dcunlocker licence to convert a mixed batch of demo units P20 pro, mate 20 lite and several others as all info seemed to state its possible.

but when i tested it out the bootloader writes fine then the device reboots to fastboot where it makes a fruitless attempt to flash the oeminfo partition via fastboot (of course this doesnt work as the bootloader is locked)

thinking i must be doing something wrong as it clearly states an unlocked bootloader is not needed i went to the live chat where i was told that it is actually a very hit and miss process which doesnt work more often than it does, heres the chat:

they have offered a refund but im still stuck with a useless device

Just disassembly phone and use HCU with DC Phoenix to covert it no other way. Need use testpoint and Huawei 1.0 state to change from demo to normal phone mode.
