3310 contact service - GSM-Forum

after useing cyberdog to unlock 3310 (which it said & looked like it had ie it said all right things )when i turned phone on it was dead i then used NU2000 to revive it it now says contact service whith cyberdog i then read flash after doing this it saidMCU SW checksum bad what can i do ? nokia tool shows all locks open, any thing i can do with nokia tool to fix it? please help this is a customers phone!!!.

What is the version of the fone? I'm sure that the MCU files of your fone was destroyed by the unlocker software that you used. You must flash the fone with the same MCU flash version so that your fone will bring back to normal operation. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

3310 MCU addresses for 3.24, 4.02 the start address should be 00200000-00320000, and if 4.06, 4.18, 4.23, 4.19, 4.24, 4.35, 4.45 is 00200000-00330000 hope this will help u cheers AND REMEMBER U MUST MAKE BACKUP FROM YOUR ORIGINAL TOO

many thanks for both replies the version was4.24 whith cyberdog which i use you can read flash from phone then write it back SO can i read another phone with same version or is it not that simple? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Remember that when you backup your phone it is much safer to backup first the PPM+EEPROM of your defective unit "if" the case of your problem is a CONTACT SERVICE.. the manner that you saved your PPM+EEPROM is that for you to preserve the phones PPM package plus your EEPROMs security data, in this way your phone is totally secured afterall we wouldn't want to destroy our phones as well as our reputations especially if you were engaged in a business. <img src="cool.gif" border="0">

After backing up apload a better working MCU that is 00200000-0033000.

I suggest that better use Rolis sw, i find it 100% working..
