3310 Contact Service - Didnt do anything - GSM-Forum

This may sound silly, but using dejan I accidently press 'write phone' instead of 'read phone'... I connected the cable and turned on phone BUT DID NOT PRESS ENTER, then I realised and un-plugged the cable. Now when I turn on the phone I get 'insert sim' - power off then 'contact service'

I cant see how this is possible as no flashing actually took part, could it be static elctricity.. Any help to repair would be greatly appreciated.. As you can see from the above I didnt manage to back it up..

Its OK, repaired with 20-30 back-up.. Now working fine, thank fcuk for that
