Hi everybody!

I feel nervous, because I am an idiot, because I can't do the soft update very well. I feel sorry to start a new topic, I saw there are thousandth soft update topic, but I am very nervous and I didn't find a full manual for soft updating. So, now I write what I done and I ask you to tell me what I missed. First I make the phone partially not unlocked. Ok. Read with NokiaTool. Ok, the phone isn't unlocked. Then I Upload the 3310 511 LP <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> MCU+PPM to the phone (of course without the EPROM area). Ok. Then I didn't calculate the FAID with koci's logger, because I tryed the phone (I'm not rich, and I don't want to use up my logs unwanted).I want to log after I probed the phone. Well, I turned on the phone (not unlocked) with a sim card. It turns on, then It found network for 3 seconds (I know it is normally, that it is falled of the network without FAID caluculating). Ok, All right, but about 35 seconds later it was turned off and on quickly. I waited another 35 seconds and it was happened again. Altogether 3 times and it is kept staying on. I pressed any key, then it happened again.

The accumulator is full of power, so it isn't a mistake source.

So, This is the story, and I hope you will help me, because you are so helpful as the other topics shows me.

Simple update FAID and your problems will gone

Yeah, the only thing you can do is FAiD.. The other symptoms like turning off and on are from broken FAiD aswell! The phone will behave very strangley until it is calculated... Also, after you calc the faid it would be a good idea to reset the phone to factory defaults with wintesla - this will clear up problems like crackly speakers, broken keypad, etc!

another logging problem: i just bought some logs from b-phreaks when i try to use the logger software v1.60 i keep getting error messages like(bad imei , phone not connected, couldnt reset mcu) i tried same cable and same fones with koci logger and my friend s jic box all ok got a proper log file . what am i doing wrong ? is anybody there using b-phreaks logger help is well appreciated thanks
