Post can 5130 be converted to dual band?


Hi m8s<br />is there any possibility to convert nokia 5130 into dual band...??? i have unlock it sucessfully but now it not giving me any network... since my sim is on gsm 900 and i have heard that this phone is on single band...i.e. on gsm 1800..

any one ? for help...is it possible thru hardware or thru s/w...<br />thanks<br />[email protected]

hi,<br />fist 5130 is a gsm 1800 mhz handset--- how it can work if ur home system is 900 mhz --- and regarding to change in multiband --- than dream for that...

but some told me tht it can be converted by changiing some h/w component... is it possible ?

hint: try to change rf filter for said frequency to be the other side <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">
