Ive tried the default. (12345)
Ive tried a program that collects it via the imei number.
Is there another way to do it without a datacable. I have a flasher cable.

Scan the phone with a program, maybe with wintesla, you will get the secret code then change it.

ive tried using wintelsa but im missing the dlportio.dll.
does anyone know where i can get it or is there another program i can use with my flasher cable

for security code you don't need wintesla, just use Logomanager or Nokia tools, nokia profile and you will see the security code

I know you can use them but i dont have a datacable which you need for them. I have a flasher cable and a full backup of the phone.
Is there any line in the backup that will tell me the security code.

with the flasher Cable and the back up program you can use the Program from Viper it's called Viper Tool112, it will show you the Code and you can change it as well.
i can send it to you if you want.
it's a bit strange that you have the Flasher cable but not the Data cable, i would suggest you buy one of them first thing in the Morning.

I have a datacable on order but it is still interesting to know that you can use another program to find the code.
i just wanted to sort it now as there is the bank holiday and my supplier sends stuff by mail so there is no post today.

I have sent you the prog, i have tested it with 7110 and 6210 it shows you the Security code, i think it works with 8210 as well

i already had that program. it is great for most phones but does not read the security code for the 8210 unfortunately. but thanks anyway.
If anyone else knows a solution can they send it to me.

...better buy a data cable for 8210, it's the most practical way to do... use nokiatool035 to reset the UI SETTINGs... it will not ask anymore for the security code... huh!
