WHEN I PUT THE BATTERY ONTO MY 3210 THE LIGHTS REMAIN ON, ONLY GO OFF WHEN I REMOVE BATTERY

The phone work after incert the battery ? Or just light is ON ?

try to check the background light control ic , it may be damaged or some water on it .

you dont see anything!!!! when the battery is attached the light comes on immiddiately, without me switching it on. i will open it up and check for water damage

 if the mobile is not water damaged , then ur problem is very easy change the on / off switch hope this can help .

hi,

as far I remember it can be solved soldering a bridge between two pins of the controler, so easy to repair,
