2300 mic, ear peice not working - GSM-Forum

i have a 2300 with mic and earpeice not working .it is a brand new peice. some times a symbol of shows on display . any ideas please help me what to do

if it is New Brand
then Try Software first
Erase whole Flash First
Then reprogram all !!!!

i flashed the phone but problem remains any other solutions

It could be a problem with the handsfree connector. Remove the block that has the connector and see if speaker works. If it does just change the handsfree connector. This problem used to show up in 33XX and 8XXX phones. This is a tested solution. Nowadays everyone jumps to flashing the phone first. Not tried this solution on this model, but it may work.

i also have a brand new 2300 the speaker and mic dont work and the screen shows a car symbol tried to solve problem by erasing the flash reflashing it and writing the pm values again even removed the handfree connector but the pboblem still remains
can any one please help

clean or change hand free connector,it will give u the best solution

u sure mic's volume is low? or ur speaker volume is slow..!! plz speciafy the history of the handset..

IF speaker and mic is not working then mayb problem is in hardware or or software first chek with write pm if not solved then ur phone is detecking auto handfree change charging bottom or clean the board
