Phone restricted=>Restriction code: - GSM-Forum

My 8310 shows always contact service -when i open it from the top power switch it says Phone restricted and the right button below the screen says "undo" when i press it, it says enter Restriction code:

anybody know about this restriction code? and if this is a software fault or what please help what to do

hi mdr i dont understand what u wanna know

meaning, have you done anything spectacular before the CS appeared? such as flashing or unlocking or any other abnormal activites <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

no nothing at all just normal use and more specific i was copying phone book from another phone by infra

I guess you could take it to a Nokia Service Point. Warranty is 3yrs and since its an 8310 it can't be older than a few months!

Your Phone Have a SIM LOCK Problem So You Have To Send it To Nokia Service Centre To Unlock It By FPS8 Promer Box.
