3310 power on problem - GSM-Forum

hi all !!

3310 water damage. after cleaning and rebow phone, flash read and write ok.
not power on. conect with bsi to ground 22k res, power on ok.

what should be fault ?

Hello Friend..... i have got the same problem in 3310 phone is dead and water damaged, i cleaned the phone .....but no result... the phone accepts flashing but not getting power ON.
You wrote this sentence (conect with bsi to ground 22k res, power on ok.)
Can you please explain me in details what is that bsi and where is the 22k res. ?

Cleaning with alcohol, or with ultrasonic cleaner and specified antioxid fluid? Use only ultrasonic cleaner!!!
And if not work after cleaning, check 26Mhz crystal oscillator, and Hagar clock out (13Mhz - external system clock).
If all ok, i think CCONT Fault.

thanks, i hav't ultrasonic cleaner.eccept this i had try every cleaning method.

pls. contact me on mail.i you use ultrasonic cleaner and b.g.a. solder balls? it is available in india. ?

check connection from PowerOn switch (S419) to R402
I viewed 2 phones whater damaged .. with this connection losted .

Hi!
I had many 3310 water damaged...every time my first step is to clean and resolder all BGA ICs (without CPU,of course)!
If not power on,only then you can start to think about changing any IC!

R 22k you will find in electronic shop.
BSI is one of the battery lines (take schematic)
Idea is to reconnect BSI line over 22k to GND.
