7650 cannot detect charger - GSM-Forum

my 7650 cannot detect a charger can you give me an idea on how I taced the cause. I Plug the charger and I test the volt output to the terminal there is on 0.4 volts output going to the battery. thanks for your help.

your problem may be the fuse......

u must use a multimeter with buzzer...and chech for continuity ....

so if you dont know where is located ..use the buzzer starting from the charging connector (+) ...and check all the small components looking like an resistor ...

usually the fuse is white (somketimes there is a "k" letter on it )

Change the flex ribbon, i have the same problem, change the ribbon, the phone can detect the charger.

-at first check fuse on grip module
-check diode on grip module
-check Flex foil, if broken change it
-check also uem and aem
