"small tip for 8310"


hi
today i had a crazy 8310 in for repair,what it was doing that the phone was booting ok,everything was normal as long as u didnt touch the phone ,the phone was ok!!but as soon as u touched the name key it was going tro all the contacts by itself!! all the time ,it was scroling tro,a reflow of the eeprom fixed the problem,hope that little tip helps.

what do u mean by EEPROM my friend ..
in 8310 is no extrenal eeprom only emulated in flash , so by EEPROM u mean FLASH IC ?

hi

yes,pali. flash ic,but the problem came back today,so after experimenting,it came down to a fauly lcd unit!! after change the problem solved!,so disregard my prevoius post,must have been accidental!.
