V50 On then Off, On, Off..... - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have one V50, which I've unlocked with Pepmaster; when I put a SIM card and power: "searchin'" then off (2 secondes), on, off again...after a short time, says "Insert SIM card". I don't know if phone was like this before unlock!

What can be? what can I do?

Hi Mourad_t,

It seems like a hardware problem, but first try to flash it & flex it with a good flash file .

I am new in Motorola unlocking, so I have a little idea about flashing them; can you tell me how to do this where to download files and other things, I'm using Pepmaster 2.10.

After unlocking with pemaster 2.10 on some V50 you must perform reset device.

1. Insert TEST card
2. Power ON phone
3. hold down #
4. When display shows frame with TEST in it type:
5. 571#
6. wait to type in:
7. 57#
8. wait to type in:
9. 01#
10. wait untill phone exits TEST mode
11. Power OFF phone & enjoy!

The previouse message stands also for V51, T192 etc. (with Texas Instruments MCU and newer GCAPs) with same problem!
