hello there folks i have got a motorola v3 razr and it is currently on t-mobile pay as you go. when i put the sim card from the razr in to another phone i am able to make phone calls and send text messages. but when i put the sim card in to the razr it won't let me make or recieve calls and text messages. the phone has good signal and has money on it. have contacted t mobile and they say everything fine with the sim account. when i put other sim cards in like virgin ,vodaphone,orange they all do the same

1 First you need to read this document

further to it maybe being imei blocked. if it was imei blocked would you still be able to access the internet on the phone?

Hi mates,

After powering on or while stilling on, the phone looks for nearest antenna to subscribe in to the net. while subscribing, it exchanges information, sim id, Imei, ...
If the phone is barred, you will get something like "Limited service" then no services except SOS calls.
