MMC card password recovery

i was using MMC card in Nokia 6230 and set password for same,when transfered same MMC card to other Nokia phone it asked for person and i cant remember the password...can anyone help me for same plss..Thanks

I did but couldnt get any software or convincing replies for same...looking for Convincing reply or software..As card reader also dosent reads the card.Thanks

you can format your mmc using palm treo or nokia communicator,i think there is no other way to do that.No software can help you

Thankss I did using Nokia 9210i...used normal MMC card first to reach file explorer and then format card..at confirmation of formatting card asked by phone i removed working card and inserted password protected card and press Yes and it formatted it..thankss a lot for ur Idea..

For me only TREO 600 do the job !!!!
Just input MMC and the phone do the rest.

No u cant,u need 9210i with firmware V6.0.

This solution for Phone that have execution file name : unlockMMC.app on folder z:\system\app\
Note :
Not all S60 Phone have this execution file.
To unlock Memory Card :
- Run execution file unlockMMC.app
- Enter new Password you like (example "12345")
- Run app Memory (Phone app Memory Standard)
- Choose To Unlock MMC with that new password

Every times you set to lock ur Memory Card with lock password , phone made a file to save your password with file name mmcstore - you can find ths file in folder c:\system\.
Note :
To see the file you must set ur file browser app to show hidden files.

To get your Lock Password :

- Send that file into your PC
- Change file extension with .txt
- Open that file using app Notepad
- You will see your lock password

or

(This way not always success)
- Make sure that your phone have app Notepad
- Copy that file into other folder
- Change its attribute not a system file and not a hidden file
- Change its extension with .txt
- Run app Notepad on your Phone
- Open that file
- You will see your lock password

- Install app MMCPWD into your phone
- Run app MMCPWD
- Choose Option then choose Restore
