t100 with full signal but call failed - GSM-Forum

this is an epic, t100 at first no signal but then sorted it, did a full eeprom reset. flashed it, with new software then wrote the "sec" part of the eeprom, but that only put it in2 contact service!!!
repaired that using sammy repairing s/w.tried 2 change imei but would not do it, so reflashed s/w then changed it, but no good.
it now has fully signal network provider name but wont call out!!!
i am now lost 4ideas and it has not been liquid damaged, it just happened......

if any 1 has any ideas please 4ward, many thanks.

It call 112?
IMEI Is good?
Try to reflash eeprom.

P.S. Sometimes after changing IMEI samsungs not work in some operators, signal is good, PA works, but call fails. but good work in another operator... And i can't understand why... Any suggestions?

Yes, this can be because of EEPROM part corruption. Try to send your phone to someone who have last UST Pro and ask him to Rebuild IMEI on the phone. IMEI Rebuilding operation in UST Pro not only changes IMEI, but truely Rebuilds it

After Writing EEPROM do not change IMEI..just check if u can make a call afterwards or not ??

use toolbox reset eeprom.
Toolbox->e2p Manager->E2pTstparttern
write 0x2767 then press reset twice. Make a call. If OK rewrite IMEI by good soft. Don't try UST cracked.

or try to make call withowt antena(remove antena).if phone make call,isolate antena from pcb.It is comon problem to samsung phones.

Use UST Eeprom rewriter to reflash eeprom
try to call
if Ok, change imei with UST 3.5
it be ok.

i flashed eepom, flashed s/w and kicked f**k out of it..........
then thought of a300's simular problem i have come across, placed pcb board in other casing, and what do u know it works fine!!!!!

well slap me silly.

How do I remove the Antenna??

It doesn't seem to come off.

I didn't saw this post before but I can confirm you, 9 out of 10 Samsung T100 with network problems, even if you have full signal and operator name on screen, have problems with the housing (casing) but you don't have to change the whole housing, just the back part where the battery comes...
