The posted method worked.

After booting into Factory Binary and going to developer settings, " OEM Unlock " would not stay enabled. The option would always revert back to the off position. I had to hold it for 3 seconds ... imagine that .

My SM-g55u running Oreo, Just had to make sure combination file matched bootloader version and rest was down hill!

I am going to try and flash an earlier firmware and use a combination file for that specific one.

If that's the route , which should I downgrade to? Currently at 8.0 and Which combination file would work with that specific firmware ?

I was thinking G955USQU1AQJ8 firmware and the SM-G955USQU1AQDA combination ...

Anyone have luck with that theory ? Any input ? Still new to flashing. Will post back results .

the proble is BL try to look for uper version like if your firmware is XXU1 try to look for XXU2 it will work vary good

like here your firmware is this G955USQU1AQJ8 look for uper like this ( G955USQU2AQJ8 )

guys i have G950F with firmware:
XEO-G950FXXU2CRF7-20180626180420
AP_G950FXXU2CRF7_CL13760092_QB18535731_REV00_user_ low_ship_meta.tar.md5

and i need correct combo file FA70 for device 2 (u2)

i can't write via odin any of those files: COMBINATION_FA70_G950FDXU1AQD1 because i'm getting error:
SW REV check fail (bootloader) device: 2, binary 1
this mean i need another combo file, somebody could help?

same way: flash combi u2, flash sboot+boot+recovery+system+cache u2. If all ok, go to settings activate OEM lock and do factory reset.

I have a s8 on 7.0 and frp on and oem on. I've flashed the combination file and turned usb debugging on Ive then flashed both the stock file and the G950FXXU1AQDD_OXM1AQDD_Arabic_v7.0_Halabtech file. with the stock file it reboots ok but is still frp locked while if i try to flash the arabic one it fails with frp message saying its not allowed. can anyone offer a suggestion tia
