u600 touch keys not working - GSM-Forum

i have u600 and i do these steps

Download(flash it) last software version (recomended ver of U600**GD4~)
Then input keystring(enter) *#9998*86824# to download firmware of touch
key from main binary newly downloaded to IC ROM of touch key.(The time
required will take nearly 20 seconds) if succesfull,you can see message "TOUCHKEY DOWNLOAD COMPLETE"
Then Power ON/OFF(Reboot)When upgrade completed.
Then check download success, enter *#0206*8376263# and confirm touch ver:1.3

THEN WHEN I SLIDE IT DOWN THE VER OF THE TOUCH PAD BECOMES 0.FF AND DO NOT WORK ANYMORE.

WHAT SHALL I DO

its not reading the touch flex i think m8 - try changing touch flex...

the problem is not flex cable. i have same problem when i try to change main board from another phone, the phone from were i try to take the board is u600b and the upper keys are fom a u600. with u600b upper keys work fine. so the problem in incompatibilitis from main board and keys processor.

I make upgrade, after upgrade I insert code *#9998*86824# but the phone only reboot , next *#0206*8376263# and:

U600VIGF2
MODEL: U600
HERA REV: 4.0
HERA SW VERS:0.9.32
TOUCH VER: 0.FF

Hi I solved the problem U600 not work Touch keys

, look in service manual U200 it is responsible for keys in touch ,Replace the U200 work 100%

bro flash your phone with u600g any firmware repair my 5 pcs with u600g firmware

hi.... am new to this forum and am having a samsung U600 G... can u plz gimme its optiflash....firmware and unlocking software...plz....i have bought it from U.K locked with virgin.... wanna use it in india.... and since 1o days am struggling to unlock it... can u plz help me with this.... would be greatfull to u buddy

i flashed with firmware U600GXEHF5 but touch keys still not work, when try code *#9998*86824# i get "touch code download failed try again" my touch version still 0.ff
