problems with test point


hi
i have try to unlock one myv65 with dongle sagem reader v12 but two pads of the test point are broken, can anybody tell me if happens something with this?
another thing is how to unlock these phones, is necessary to power on it before read the codes or is not necessary to put the battery and power on the phone?

yes you have to power up the phone to read the codes most code readers will power up the phone but the sagem are different. and because u have burnt off the pads it is a new mother board thats required. in future use test point jigs instead of soldering on the test points.

You can't read field 5709 from myv-65 its protected. Not possible via log.

well you can try and do a remote unlocking but i don't think they work, so i am afraid that a new motherboard for the phone is needed. can i ask what version are u using(sagem code reader)

i will give u some advice. upgrade your dongle to the v14 and make sure it comming with the test jigs because soldering on the board is no good, you only get one shot at it. so take my advice.just write bk if u dont like it but it is the safest and quickest way to unlock the new style of sagem phones.

Or just solder the wires to pins and hold them directly on the pin outs to avoid soldering and damaging.
