Prodigy Latest Release v 1.0.530


Prodigy v 1.0.530 - 14 Oct 2003

What's new:

- full flashing support for 6650 - MCU, PPM, Content Pack and Bluetooth

- SimLock support for 6650 - lock & unlock

- bugs fixed on 6310(i) and 7650 BT flash

- fixed bug on 5210 flashing with Flash chip 008988C4


Before running:

Please update your Prodigy device to build 00.00.01.02 with the
provided Update Wizard. Then you can use this new version.

Note: Running old device builds on this version is not possible.
Once your Prodigy updated to latest build will be no longer compatible
with old Prodigy.exe versions. Please do not use it.

Why I try to use Update Wizard, the soft say No Device detected.
It is original box and working good with v410...
Just cannot upgrade !

i cant update my box!!!!

why is it everytime i update my box "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER" always appear...

what's the problem?is it the server or my box?
please help...

Please disable firewall, Connect your dongle with a Nokia Charger.

I installed v5.00, when I run the soft, a LiveUpdate wizard is
running, after updated 18%, it stopped, now the update Wizard
can detect the box but the box dead, cannot be reconized by any
version of Prodigy software.
I was attached the box to LPT port directly without any extension
wire, and use original nokia charger for the power, and good
Broadband Internet connections during upgrade, and turn off the
firewall of course, what's the problem ?
I heard that before, many prodigy boxes was killed by the
LiveUpdate, so I wait , I afraid it kills my box, when the newest
version v5.30 comes out and have some bug fix, so, I try,
but got a dead box now, cannot flash any phones now and
lost customers!
Please help.....what should I do now ?
Why the latest version v5.30 cannot detect a working box, (but
it will not kill box), your team told me to use v5.00, now kill the
box ! I don't understand why after the box was killed by the v5.0,
it can be detected? (but only the update Wizard can detect the
box, no information there, and I cannot find any LOG file to check
those Info.
Now, none Prodigy software can read the box, just showing
running in Demo mode .)
It really made me upset !

For your info, box was not killed by v500 live update but auto update instead. We have fixed the Prodigy box for customer who is facing problem with v500 auto update.

Last question, can you tell us which country reseller you brought from?

I have done the test personally, so far no dongle was dead even with the update stopped half way through. And for updating going halfway or maybe 1% .. all you need is to click "Back" and then "Next" .. the server will still detect the dongle =)

Yes, the server detected the box, but cannot press the 'next', it
is hidden and grey color !!

Here is the error message when using the upgrade Wizard:

Device detected.
Please make sure you have 'default.log' file with correct data inside !
No device info available, will use saved data:
Serial Number:
Firmware Build:

Then, cannot be continued, the 'next' button is hidden.

When I first try (before using v5.00) the v5.30 update wizard,
it said 'No Device detected', after I used v5.00 (when I run
v5.00, the update wizard started automatically and stop at
18%, then the box now not working!), now the wizard can
detect the box, but not working anymore.

I am using the same PC with v4.10 before, without any problem.

My friend bought it for me from your Shenzhen dealer, please
tell me how to solve this?

Please kindly tell us from which ShenZhen Dealers you brought from? I can't understand much on your problem. Please refer the dongle back to the dealers which you brought from as we have Official reseller in China as part of the link for support as well.
