****PATCHING IMEI JST USING YOUR UFS here!!!

this is what ive learned in our local gsm forum....

all you only need is UFS and GRIFFIN

1. download all imei patches of JAF
2. flash the phone with mcu and ppm with its correct version (ex.. 8310 v6.20)
3. now put NHM-7V06.20.fia in ppm
4. flash it without MCU..
5. check info... you will notice that imei will be ---
*** if you insert a sim card it wont accept any. phone restricted will appear
6. ufs can't unlock this phone so its time for the griffin box to do the unlocking...

after that check it out!!! you now have a phone with an invisible imei!!!

hehehe!! tried and tested with 1unit 8310...

if you check *#06# you cant see the imei... now even the network provider cant blocked your phone..

i hope somebody can try this and check if the phone will work 100%...

enjoy!

The Repair Shop 08-01-2005 17:48

but if the nework can not "see" your imei, how does the network even know the phone is on?

ryumahon 08-01-2005 17:50

try it mate before you ask.... the phone will still get signal...

kenichi 08-01-2005 18:40

test mobile with a wavetek..... and told us with IMEI is sent to net.

hitibiti 08-01-2005 19:04

are u drunk???
imei show is only bypassed by this procedure...
the original IMEI is still there but hidden from phone!
so...network can still SEE imei & BLOCK ur phone!!!

br,

rico_deep 08-02-2005 03:25

correct me if i'm wrong, using griffin it only see ESN# not IMEI#, i've tried it on 6310,6310i,3530,6510 and 8310..All phones work fine without *#06#IMEI...is it posible that this phones registered to network as a CDMA phones. cos CDMA phones have ESN#

karwos 08-02-2005 08:20

Sure, it NOT will work in way which u presented ;) Some peoples have solution for it, some not :D

after patching the phone went into CONTACT SERVICE... so what i did is i used my griffin to unlock it via Local MODE... after unlocking the phone is 100% ok....

if i press *#06# no imei appears.. but when i press *#war0anty# may the imei shows...350604108593158.... which is different from its original imei... I think the patches of JAF has a built in imei...

BTW the phone is still 100% working..

there is no harm in trying this... if you think that it will damage your phone jst relash it... phone will go back to its normal state...

JUST DO IT!!!!! :D

fgl30 08-06-2005 12:37

@ rico_deep: ESN is the "IMEI" of TDMA phones.

Ron2pet 08-06-2005 12:47

no imei.. means no imei? figure it out....

this procedure is only used for blacklisted phone...

phones that are saying "SIM REGISTRATION FAILED"...

backbiter17 08-06-2005 18:38

know that, but will this phone work fully without sending imei to net

the imei you seen in the key press *#war0anty# came from a full PM that has data on id[05]

my conclusion that IMEI of phone is stored at :

1. UEM = will be the machine number = seen in readed Flashing Device

Sample:
UEM contains IMEI:35099840194086 <<<<< unaltered
ReadOK
Generating request for
35099840194086

2. FLASH = will be the Electronic Serial Number = seen in keypress *#06#

Sample:
Phone data:
V 05.35/17-08-04/RH-9/(c) NMP.
ESN 5/17-08-04/RH-9 <<<<<< IMEI missing(altered)
Product Code 0509406
MCU Version V 05.35/17-08-04/RH-9/(c) NMP.
HW Version 1224
UEM Version 8
UPP Version 4384
Product Profile file is: apac.pp

3. PM = will be the Product Data. = seen out of the flashing area
also in key press *#war0anty# to display at LCD
Sample
Reading product data...
Original IMEI vickie/40/194086/2 <<< imei ALTERED to rename imei but still working :D
Done

I LOVE MY GRIFFIN

xileen2k 08-07-2005 07:52

what about 1100 and 2300 phones?? any patch fia out there??

WBR,

xileen2k 08-07-2005 07:53

The big question why only griffin can unlock and not ufs?? BTW what version of griffin? 2.895?? Thanks..

WBR,

ahmed 08-07-2005 09:00

can you use griffin to flash the patched file to the phone ????? or can UFS only flash the patched file

xileen2k 08-07-2005 09:06

yes , you can try and post results here..

WBR,

ahmed 08-07-2005 09:23

@xileen2k , i do not have a phone to test the flash patching with griffin

xileen2k 08-07-2005 09:27

You mean Raskal, i can change NOKIA to any name i like....kewllllll...

WBR,

ryumahon 08-07-2005 13:54

its in the PM... raskal edited the PM to change the nokia to ODIA

as of the moment only griffin can unlock the phone patched with ufs or griffin... ufs cant detect the imei thats why it cant unlock the patched phones...
