What that mean "with 3V" Dofie ?

x25640 eeproms like 3v more than 5v which is default ponyprog (SI-prog interface) voltage. Just put put a zener diode 2v7 or 3v1 between GND and +Vcc. It will work fine.

is there a replacement for LM2936Z-5 in ponyprog schematic? i try 78L05 but not work. i need to built a better eeprom reader/backup, pls help
