Problem installing Drivers - GSM-Forum

I'm desperately trying to unlock my A835.
I know I need to get additional drivers installed:

Motorola Data Interface
Motorola Accessory
Motorola MCU Data Logger
Motorola DSP Interface
Motorola Test Command

But XP can't find them. I'm pointing it to the P2K directory but it's still refusing to recognise any device drivers.

I've even tried base level install of the Motorola Command Interface which I've read elsewhere will trigger the install of the others but, even though XP tells me the device is working properly, the other devices do not install and PST won't give me the option to read the phone.

I'm not going to try another unlock until I get these drivers installed because each time I try, Unimotor 2.17 runs off with all the resources it can get until it reaches 2GB, then Windows gives up and a reboot is required.

Can anyone help please?

Problem solved using fairly fresh XP installation on laptop
