@ kamransohail786,

Please make sure that:
1. Firewall on your computer (or your LAN) is configured properly or disabled
2. LPT port settings are set to EPP in BIOS
3. Your LPT cable works properly
4. You use a stable power supply with your clip (use power adapter 12V 750mA)
5. If you are using WinXP, log in as Administrator or any other account with administrative rights
6. Fully cahrge the battery.

To run a new SmartMoto under WinXP also to update a Smart-Clip please
launch the SmartMoto, open Smart-Clip bookmark & tick the option "Disable OS parallel port polling (requires reboot)".
After that restart you PC.
Also set LPT options in SmartMoto to compatibility.

Best Regards

@ kamransohail786,

U6 with the boot version 8.A1 supported for unlock\flashing procedures via Prepare cycle.
In case if your handset has boot version 8.A1, try to perform Repair PDS and Full Flash procedures via Prepare cycle.
In case if some error will appear, post log file without serial numbers.

P.S. I have posted that reply, because "Clip communication Error" appears in case if the connection between Smart-Clip and the handset not stable. Those settings should be checked.

To all users.

Please remember to keep Smart-Clip serial number in secret at all times. The serial can be only posted to Smart-Clip support team via e-mail or Private message. Please be aware that all serials that are posted at any public forum will be immediately blocked for good.

There will be no return for the blocked Clip. It will never become functional again.

Best Regards
GSMServer team
