I never faced any probems with upgrading my SC. But I know how to care of it ...
I have updated my smart clips with all sorts of computers: p1 233 mmx w98, ppro 200 xp, celeron 1200 xp, piv xp, ecc, ecc.

It is not the computer, it is the power supply and internet connection, that count.

If any of the two drops, you get a dead clip.

And that could happen even with a professional internet connection, if a telco technician accidentally cuts the wire.

It happened to me once. I went out and told him I would hit him if he would not fix it immediately. He fixed it in a few seconds and then went to the Police.
My line still works, though.

Send a letter to [email protected] with the serial number & log file from update. Then we will be able to work it out.

yeah you maybe right. connectivity is the key. you can't afford to loose that connction while upgrading.

Hmmm...i think this is no internet connection problem this is SC server problem. I have 640kbps, firewall turned off and when i try update to v2.07 after third time upgrade succesfull, now i afraid uptade to v2.09.
If my clip dead then i must write to sc support etc. etc. and wait, wait and wait.
If we some stuff for repair our clip life been very easy

Another tip: Update your clip when the internet is not busy, late at night, early hours of the morning - based on European time. And never update your clip as soon as an update is released, because every monkey will be updating their clips then Leave it a few hours if you can

best regards
