Smart Clip Cannot Unlock C115 ????? Telcel Mexico ????? - GSM-Forum

please Tell Me The Secret......have Read Instructions, Used The New Cable That Came W Smart Clip, Plugged Into Phone Push Button, Rx/tx Glow,pwr On Phone And Nothing....goes To Red. Rx/tx Lights Never Blink. This Is A Telcel Gsm Motorola C115. Any Ideas?? -thanks

hi i had the same problem and found that the cable wasnt going far enough in to the phone / so i trimed some of the black plastic off the end and it works without a problem now . hope this helps

yes, That Is The First Thing I Noticed And Was Hoping That Was It, But No It Is Not. Also Tried Much Jiggling Of Cable And No Luck. The Rx/tx Glow Steady Then Off......is It Anything To Do With Carrier?????????????????????????????

has anyone EVER unlocked one of these phones? it is an old model, but customer has 50!....and they are all brand new in box.....from telcel, mexico. they are standard c115's (gsm) but they will not unlock w the smart clip. i have never seen the smartclip fail and i hope the solution is out there. -thanks

most probably You have some new version of c115 wich is currently not supported.

i had unlocked with smart clip 1 phone in 5 second there is easy way

u must try twice before posting

smart-clip is great

Man, phone must be off, plug cable to phone and press unlock button on clip then press power button on the phone. (after one or two seconds you press unlock button,then you can press power button of the phone).
Just try few times you will get it unlock.

Check version, 2.2.52.N can't be unlocked by SmartClip.

thank-you for trying to help, but of course the phone must be off, of course I read the smart clip instructions (that you are repeating) and of course I have unlocked a c115 before, but not a telcel mexican c115, have you?............has anyone????
