smart-clip update problem

Dear Customers,

Considering our experience with updates we wanted to lay out some additional advices for update of your clips

When you update make sure that:

- firewall on your computer is disabled
- you have good internet connection
- LPT port settings are set to EPP in BIOS
- you have a stable power supply to your clip (use adapter)
- your IE version is not lower than v5.0
- if you use Win XP, log in as administrator
- if you use Win XP please launch the SmartMoto tool, open Smart-Clip
bookmark & tick the option "Disable OS parallel port polling (requires reboot)". After that restart you PC.



In case of still having difficulties while updating, please save a log file of the process and email immediately along with serial numbers to support[at]smart-clip.com

thanks for your advice

when should i try the update again? the above files is the logs process.

in what section can i post the logs? have checked under smart-clip section no place to past the logs pls direct me.thanks
