LG U8180, U8330 - How to Unlock/Repair - GSM-Forum

Ok, this message is for the people who slept over the last weeks, or did not understand where and when to use the Testpoints:

1 - Unlocking U8180, U8330 WITHOUT OPENING THE PHONE = WITHOUT TESTPOINT

To do this, just Flash the phone with CONVERSION FLASHES for the specific phone.
Select all 4 files from a packet, bu KEEPING THE LEFT MOUSE button pressed.
There are more CONVERSION Files sets avaiable for this phones.

After flashing, just PUT A SIMCARD IN THE PHONE, amd PRESS 2945#*88110# and enter any 8 digit code ==> and your phone is unlocked

2 - Repairing, Flashing (also you can unlock this way) - NEED to open the phone and make TESTPOINT

This refers for phones with software problems, ''software dead'' phones and phones where flashing gets interrupted during unlocking like on point nr1.

- Just USING TESTPOINT flash the phone with one of the flashfiles from support area.
[glow=red]AFTER this RELOCK and UNLOCK the phone, and it should be ok.[/glow]
However sometimes you need to try with more then 1 flashfile to get a good result, but this cases are verry few..

P.S. Pictures with testoints and all needed software and files are avaiable on www.VygisToolbox.com support area.

thanks mr gobi for all the updates

i have 2pcs u8180

1. I flashed phone with u8138 flash ,phone power on but when I want to unlock him he did not accept any code. That software did not gave to me to click on RELOCK PHONE or UNLOCK. I think that the problem is in a software.

If I am in wrong please help me , because my two phones are dead.

p.s. when I repeated action phone did not comunicate with software LG 3G by Vygis v1.19.

1 - AFTER FLASHING, probably you have not put a simcard in the phone when typing 2945#*88110# --> because without simcard, nothing will happen..

But i don't understand now how you have managed to get dead phones ..??

- However it seems you have to flash/repair the phones with testpoint, like described at point nr2 in my previous post.

When gives " WRONG PARAMETRES" ? More details please. Btw, the testpoint does not has to be well connected, only for a few seconds, when the program asks for it...

Solution for LG U8110, U8330, no problem for me now, but I still have problem with U8150. Why I cant unlock it with vygis ?
