hi i have tried to unlock LG KS360 3 times with Microbox i got the codes from Micro box how do you get to the menu??? from after entering the codes?????????? anyone done this model yet and are able to explain or help? manythanks

Insert accepted simcard and then type that code, otherwise you would not get to the needed menu, luck

just read codes insert accepted sim then type 2945#*71001# pop asking for simlock will come up and enter the code and phone will reatart ,now the phone is unlocked,thats it-cpukiller

I am having the same problem i enter the number fine then it changes to sim unlock mode
after that it asks me for a password which i know nothing about can someone please help

please,how did you obtained your code to unlock the phone?I have your same model, but I don't know how to get the code..

I've tried to unlock a new KS360 (I just take it from its box), and can't read anything. Simply it doesn't connects. I've tried with 2 different cables (KG800 RJ45 from microbox and other from FG), and it doesn't connects. Maybe there is any problem with this phone.. but... it is new :S

You are a Bit Wrong mate.. it needs KE500 Cable not KG800

i just got an LG KS 360 and i had to unlock it too.
i asked the guy who sold it to me how to unlock it and this is what he said:
first i had to activate the boost prepaid sim card.
then i have to buy $80 credit on boost prepaid.
after that id have to call customer service, which you can get to if you dial 555 and follow the prompts.
after i had done this i told the customer service lady that i had bought this phone and wanted to unlock it and was told to recharge $80 credit.
she then did a few things and told me to put the sim card i want in (in this case, it was a telstra prepaid sim).
i did that and turned on the phone, on the screen was an option that said 'unlock' i selected that and it said to type in a code, i told the lady and she told me what code to type in.
after that, my phone was successfully unlocked.

LOL, we dont wanna charge $80 for a simlock! We have Microbox for this! Damned dont have the KE500 Cable! I have to purchase this f*ckin cable! Purchasing is not the problem, the problem is the custumor wants it TommoroW!!
