Member: 130995 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 35,227 | Dear Friend, Currently many "Chinese" models with the same name but absolutely different hardware exist on market, f.e. exist at least 20 phones with name "Chinese Nokia-N95" but with different bottom connectors and different pinouts, so we recommend you to include the next information in your question regarding pinout: 1. detailed description of model: brand name, model name, complete text from phone back label, any other marks that you can find on phone cover 2. phone CPU chip name 3. phone PCB photo (Rx/Tx/Gnd test-points may exist on phone PCB) 4. attach phone photo 5. attach phone bottom connector photo 6. include information about Gnd and Charge pins on phone bottom connector After you have this information prepared, you can find pinout by yourself more easy than before, just check the next detailed description how to get pinout for your model: 1. use "Cable Selector": http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=398297 2. if not helps, please read: C:\Program Files\InfinityBox\pinout\ChineseMiracle\ 3. if not helps, please read: http:///vbb/showpo...36&postcount=7 4. if not helps, please read: http:///vbb/showthread.php?t=433447 |

Member: 148515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 19,534 | hello! I dont see reason to point people to correct pinout for they phone if they dont respect other users and do not post even a connector type. with numbers of different connectors there could be few pinouts for same model. Do we have to guess which connector is used in phone? |

Member: 148515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 19,534 | hello mr. nomi_sg1! yes, i understand your point. By do you agree that request for help should not look like first message in this tread? Person did not even mentioned which connector use phone and which pinout he need (CPU1 or CPU2) regarding pinout for nktel k99: if there is first pinout in bottom connector then second must be in it also. how many pins in connector? |

Member: 148515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 19,534 | You can try pin voltage measuring method. or you can try all possible combinations. there is not co much unknown pins left. Please note: if you solder cable and test it for exmple by reading flash- you must press power button and hold it even when phone started. it takes arround 5-8 seconds to start second MCU. so all this time power button must be pressed. this is verey important. In other case you will not get connection even with correct pinout. in your case i would start from checking pins 2,3 in box combinations: pin 2 as tx and rx, and pin 3 as rx and tx |
