6288 - display only black? Is 6280==6288? - GSM-Forum

I have a 6288 where the display is only black. Backlight is on, but screen is black. Phone appears to work. Tested to change LCD, but it did not help. Also tried flashing it. Does anyone know what may be wrong?

Are 6280 and 6288 boards equal? So i can safely buy a 6280 board to this phone, and there's absolutely no difference?

1st check flex
and try to update firmware 6.43

guide: I switched the entire board with a different phone, so problem must be somewhere on the board - not lcd/flex. Connector looks perfect. Already tried flashing to 6.43 but it didn't help

when you flash your phone to 6.43 have you also flash CNT?flash also CNT and phone will work.

Thanks i'll try that, but i don't have these IC's. Can i get them from some other phones?
