No, you need a DKU 5 cable.
use correct cable. get it here:

1) install the cable driver. then on your Device Manager> Ports section, you'll see a DKU5 Connectivity on COM"?"

That is the COM cable location.

Then change the "bb5_unlocker.cfg" to the same COM number on your Device Manager>Ports section.

The figure must be only 1-9. If you get greater than 9, just simply change the USB socket.

Oh yes

I've been struggling with my N70 unlokcing for a week and a half, read the whole thread (at least two times) trying desperately use the original DKU-5 with no success at all ;(

So i ordered a chinese version of that CA-42 and installed the "profilic USB-Serial" driver, and vóila!!!

At the very first try, it made the trick

Even that i had these 3 tries used for unlocking with the operator provided key, and the phone was "backlocked".

So, many many many thanks for all of you very kind people, who have patiently given instructional advice to us "sunday unlockers" like me

He means that the s/w does not support unlocking anything except the first handful of models, everything else is a hardware/box unlock, including your 6300 handset ...

Hello. How do you set the com ports? It is written that it is set by a simple word editior, but I don't know how.
