@wuwvi
You are the first one which has read all points carefully,
I m happy and admire you, coz stanner's already told me 50% peoples dont like to read. . .

Q .1:
Quote:
i have one question:

Quote:
Finally use SX4 and Write PM Field [1] and [309] (or full pm as you wish), now we have done all abt Software.

at this point, can i use the blank rpl trick to bypass the SX4? like, write blank rpl, write backup pm [1] and [309], finally write back backup_rpl.

br,
wuwei
Actually _blank_rpl_ is only use for Restore the backup rpl or pm 308, it will do nothing or it will not be effective in other cases.

You can use _blank_rpl_ at anywhere but this time when i said Finally use SX4. . .
you should not use at this time if both backup are restored well.

Q .2:
Quote:
question 2, when you said backup pm 0-400 is better for new bb5+ phone, what does it mean? means:
Coz 308 field is not enough to restore the SimLock Area only in newer BB5+ Phone which
has ROM ID: 191EC665DFAAF68F and 273F6D55DFAAF68F, * HASH: BAF3A9C3DBFA8454937DB77F2B8852B1
and we need also other orignal fields like 1, 120. . .309 etc to restore this 308 field,
therfor i recommend save Full PM backup 0 to 400, write only this full PM and SimLock Area
will be restore easily without any problem, otherwise you may need to buy an new rpl to fix
this problem.

Q .3
Quote:
question 3,

Quote:
After successfully restore the PM 308 backup phone will on Contact Service/Retailers or full working phone with damaged Imei. In this condition when phone has damaged Imei: 12345610654321 you can write full modified PM (without 308 field) without using SX4, coz phone has not certificate (IMEI), therefor no need to use SX4.

do you mean phone will with damaged imei, in either 'Contact Service/Retailers' or 'full working phone'?
and in both cases, i MUST write a full modified PM (without 308 field), in order to continue to next step, am i correct? if PM backup 0-400 is already a full backup PM, why do i have to write another one? what is a fully backup PM, 0-512 or 0-400?
yes phone will power on with Contact Service or fully working phone with damaged Imei.
after restore pm 308, write full modified pm is optional step, if you have already write orignal PM 0-400 then no need to write modified pm.

And 0-400 backup is enough no need for 0-512, all bb5 phone has maximum fields 362-365, therefor 0-400 address is enough for reading full pm.

In Case when you got Damaged Imei: 123456789012345 and you dont have Orignal RPL Backup then free way is try to solve this problem by downgrading if Imei and SP Data is still damage, then Upgrade it back and you must need to buy an new RPL to fix this problem. Use ASK to RPL Service.

@kashi4gul

Thanks for your useful information.

I need to erase 5800 xpressMusic.

I think the procedure is as follows. Please help me to check.

My tool is JAF + USB-cable(I don't have 5800 F-Bus cable)

1. backup full PM(0-400)

2. backup RPL(by CRT tool)

3. start flash the erase file
Please tell me which files are needed for 5800
A. BB5Erase_16MBrap.bin
B. BB5Erase_32MBrap.bin
C. BB5Erase_8MBrap.bin
D. BB5Erase_EE_16MBrap.bin
E. BB5Erase_EE_32MBrap.bin
F. BB5Erase_EE_8MBrap.bin
G. BB5Erase_uni_rap.bin
H. BB5Erase_UNI_rapido.bin
I. Erase_64M_sorinm.fia

4. Flash full firmware

5. write full PM backup

6. write RPL backup

The phone should become work states after step 6, right?

yes but right sequence is this, and no need to use all erase files:

Save your both backup PM 308 and RPL and save also Full Pm 0-400 backup only for newer BB5+

- Erase with UNI_rapido.bin (For MT uni_rap.bin )

- Full Flash

- Write/Restore PM 308 backup

- Write/Restore RPL backup

Write Full Modified PM with SX4 (Optional)

And you can not Read or Write RPL backup Via Usb Cable, you must use Fbus cable.

i dont have test with usb but if so that. . . how you will read or write rpl backup, you will need fbus cable to read or write rpl backup, however erasing with usb is useless you must use Fbus cable for this procedure.
