Nokia N70, Reformat using "3 * Green Dial" Does not work, why? pls help? - GSM-Forum

i am having a nokia N70 with firmware version 3+. But cannot format using the the magic keys. i have tried on a 6600 and 6260 it work. any other way to hard format this phone. i do not want to resort to flashing? please help.

It works but it does not show formating on display like other S60 but reboots( Shows Nokia Logo) Twice over the display as the indication of formating.

- answer key ( green key ) + * + 3 + Power switch
- wait
- .... untill displ show Nokia logo, after blinks && giving it again
(but will NOT show "Formatting" or else on the LCD, as other like 6600)

go to setting and find the full factory setting
