tampered 768 - GSM-Forum

I have flashed an Ericsson GF768 with erserv 1.8 and a PII 450. Now it says tampered!. I've read all the messages send before, but I can't solve the problem. All the programs says "time out".

Must the sim card be at the phone when flashing? Must I press the power button short time or until the phone is on?

Also, I've build my own cable, but maybe I've got the wrong one! :-( I'M DESPERATED

Erserv 1.8 is a good programme but it cannot flash. It can download and upload EEPROM, not flash.
If You have downloaded EEPROM first, before uploaded file, You can upload the old information. Thats way You will be at the beginning.
New software versions of these phones are not yet solvd. You must reflash the flash with the old software version and upload the EEPROM with file coresponding to this version.
I have never done this
