Red face ub not updating

We have 2 ub boxes but when they auto update from 2.8.5.2513 to 2.8.5.2552 once downloading executables has finished the software closes.
*both boxes have been tried on different pc's
*the update fails on both boxes
*everytime software reopens it begins updates again
*antivirus software and all firewalls have been temp disabled to see if they are causing the update failure , but we get same problem
*i have even installed basic 2.8.4 download to third pc and that fails to update too,
*boxes are fully activated for all unlock features
*i have aborted update process too to get software to stay open but get probs unlocking
*has been tried with and without power supply

seems to be problems unlocking some bb5's we could unlock earlier ,
i could expect this problem with 1 box but not both ,
is there a problem with new update???
new signed driver is also installed

help pls ,

in setup , select server 4 , it is working very good.
