After upgrading 6280 from 3.70 to 5.92 phone won`t go to test mode any more! - GSM-Forum

With fw 3.70 the phone goes to test mode normally(reading the imei, sw version, etc.), after I upgraded it to 5.92 phone won`t go to test mode any more. However, phone still can be flashed with "autodetect product" switched off, but UI option can not be set. Is it some kind of protection in recent BB5 firmware revisions?

Phone works OK with 5.92

Change resistor in BSI line from 3.3k to 5.1k it will work.

i flash with version 5.92 with ca-53 cabel and it's ok done nothink wronge
yes i have fbus cabel but i alway's flash with ca-53 . try downgrand and checkout.but let me know u nothink wronge with ver 5.92.

yes upgrading bb5 is not so easy as dct4 !!

Nokia can control the BSI threshold in the firmware, so for lower versions 3k3 was required and for higher versions 5k1 is required.

5k1 will also work with lower firmware versions, so two cables are not required.

es mr.odia is right a little exercise help u to save ur hand set .u need to remove old ewsister with 5k and it's done.or used usb flashing with dku-2 or ca-53.

I had also flashed my 6280 to 5.92. I had done this with an modified f-bus cable with the 5k1 resistor. 7 pin cable and JAF.
After the flash it always shows test mode. no more local mode if I use te usb cable I can swich it to local or test.

Everything works fine can still flash the mobile and do all the service jobs etc.

Maybe its the firmware version that couses the problem. You can't donwngrade to test this

same problem with me.
solution is only ufs nokia 2.0.1 version is working correctly.
i was try all other versiyons but with 2.0.1 version flashing was work correctly.
