First of all, thanks Brka. Really, thanks!

We are a small italian startup and right now we have about 15 Pixi 4 4034x 2AALGBA-1 and we were not able to find

1) the stock rom
2) a custom recovery

in order to install our APP backup for our small business purposes.

we tried really lots lots of Stock Rom 4034x and similar, but finally i've ended up in the #46 post of the other thread and we were able at least to find the original stock rom for our smartphone ^^ so 1) is solved!

for 2) do any of you know a custom recovery for this model? cause we tried at least 12 recovery Pixi 4 4034 but none seems to work.

These are all custom recoveries i could find : DOWNLOAD

patiently try them one by one, some of them should work.

i lost track about that model ... what version of android is inside ?

p.s. There is also this TWRP recovery porting utility, but it works for android 5, 6, 7, 8.0, 8.1 & 8.1go.

p.s.2 If bootloader is locked - patched boot also need to be flashed (utility will make one for you)
(patched boot circumvent some security checks in bootchain, so custom recovery can be started)

p.s.3 You dont have to flash recovery, if able to enter fastboot - you can just BOOT it, do the rooting job,
so modified recovery wont stay permanently (and cause bootloop)

p.s.4 You can try with MAGISK too, and from developer options - enabled "OEM Unlock"

try it and post results ....

Yes yesterday we were able to modify the boot with Magisk, so today or at least monday I will try to backup and restore using FlashFire

I'll try also your utility TWRP and I see what I am able to do.

ok, i've used your TWRP tool and it was super easy, super fast, and super effective!

in 30 sec I've created a TWRP recovery and with SP flash tool it's now on the Pixi 4 and it it working

I let the backup in the office but on monday I will try to restore it with SD card in the recovery and it should be ok!

ok, so I didn't remember that the backup we used for the other Pixi 4 99% will not work with this version cause after the restore from SD it will push the data etc file of the other Pixi 4 which has a different Stock ROM

so I tried to install the Cyano13 or Lineage13 into this Pixi 4 through the TWRP recovery

I go to install
I select the zip Cyano 13 or Lineage13

and It keep giving me an error , i'll attach the photo as soon as the forum let me manage attachments ^^

any tips?

i never played with custom roms on that model,
however - more resources (custom ROMs) - HERE (use translate in chrome)

mediafire somehow didnt accept files ... anyway, it's easy to make twrp with that porting utility

Ok, so before installing any custom rom, if from TWRP recovery i do

Wipe data, system, cache

I was able to install a few custom ROM like cyano13 and lineage os 14 and other without any red error using install and then selecting the zip custom rom file

but

when i reboot the system after the installation, the smartphone stays stuck in the Alcatel logo boot

So I tried to flash the boot file from the original ROM, and when I do that, the smartphone stays stuck not in the Alcatel logo but now in the logo of the custom ROM like cyano etc

but neither way the smartphone is not able to start

any suggestions? I cannot register in the russian forum cause during the registration format i have to answer to a math question reading an image and i am not able to translate it ahah

If memory serves me,

Correct procedure is:
- install/boot twrp
- from twrp, format data
- from twrp, wipe system, cache, dalvik
- reboot twrp from twrp (reboot to recovery)
- sideload/install from sdcard desired rom
- reboot to system

Should boot normally, after, if needed, reboot to twrp and install gapps

Magic step is to format userdata from twrp,
Then reboot twrp from twrp, so new filesystem will take effect

i've tried with 4 custom rom but nothing works, it always remain stuck in the alcatel logo bootload

Tomorrow we will start to create the new backup using the boot rooted with magisk and we see from there!

You can flash with any flash file.

i had a phone with same pid, and normally flashed it to other european retail pid.

problem you had was of "other nature".
