How to Flash my ME45 - GSM-Forum

I will be thankfull to anybody, who could tell me how the hell can i update my firmware of my ME45.

right now i'm using version 24 and i have downloaded flash version 30. every time i try to update it, the program tells me that i need another cable (flash cable)
is that so?
can't i update it with my own data cable?

You can not use the datacable which came with your ME45.
You'll need a "service" datacable which you can buy online and is quite low priced.

thank u, but a friend of mine flashed his C35 with my data cable. How come?
could u write down a link or URL from where i can buy the service cable?

I've checked that site...it's only have a regular data cable not flash cable....

I have the same problem with ZooYork........

the flash cable only has 3 wires in it on pins 1,5,6
here's the pinout for your info... if u want, modify your existing data cable in order for you to upgrade...

btw, I bought mine here in Phil for only $2.5 bucks...
