Cut testpoint and try flashed with FREA but process stoped "boot not accepted". Try flashed with SST but problem is saim. After 5-6 sec LED RX TX off.

It seems that you have one of the new A52 that can't be flashed using free soft at this moment.

exactly same problem like karateka but with a c56 phone , first i tried with freia and toolbox , none of them can do the phone , then i cut the test point now phone just blinks , adn toolbox or freia stop in bootloading

I have a question:Which A52 phone's versions are old and which one are new?Some friends tell us that we can unlock old A52 with free SST !

This depends on the phone hardware not the software version.
This is the worst so we can't say this "version is not supported so do not try".
We had the same situation few mounths ago when C55 with flash Id 2c0017 appeared. But here the problem is different as these new phones have again 890016 flash ID.

Look on internet....Siemens say like "The phone will be available across GSM key markets from September 2003".
my phone date is 30-07-03....
New or old software? When?
For me SSSTT free software is for f*** all a52!!!!!
I don't have all a52 in my hand but my opinion is ....ONLY NEW A52....
Don't try FREE TOOLBOX on your A52......with or without backup!!!!!!

As far as I know in the free SST there is no A52 support as you can't select A52 phone type. So I think he did not put this for free as He can get money for A52 support

Yes all A52 are new but when I received first 100 peices for unlocking there was not problem to unlock as C55/A55.
And there was no killed phone.
But on phones I got for unlocking last 2 weeks ...
So that's why I call these phones new A52.
To all do not use "free SST" or any other soft that does not support A52!!!
But also I do not want to insult SST gsm as his commercial soft works perffect with all A52.

I press unlock buton and I f*** my A52, no SSt GSM....
But free software haven't protection for unknown version or model..

but remember friends!! the sst is the only program which has unlocked the phones of some of us for free. So let's conclude good about things like that.

And it is our fault when we see C55/C65 option but we still unlock an A52 with it!!

I dont have SST commercial (only have sst free tool) so I couldn't unlock any A52!

So, you are safe from troubles. Better is buy original hardware with support, and you'll never have hadache.

hi, i have problem with one A52 version 09, "boot file not accepted" message appears when triyng conect whit freya_build9, maybe needs testpoint?!?
