7650 on orange switched off.


hey guys...got a problrm with a n7650 ive just bought off a m8 of mine,basicly he did an insurance claim on his 7650 and sold me the old one.orange has switched the phone off or blocked it somehow,how can i reactivate the phone and maybe get it open to other networks.....CHEERS.

No problem in unlocking it, but due to the fact that the phone is IMEI barred its about as good as a door stop, the only thing to do is sell if for spares or to someone abroad.

what about changing the imei or cloning it with a working one,like the new phone he recieved from orange.i had this done on a nokia 6310 and it worked and still does work perfectly.

7650 IMEI changing is a bit diffent from other DCT-4 phones, if you take this one to the guy who changed the last one for you then all will be OK, but I don't think IMEI changing the way the others are changed is possable on the 7650.
