L760v does not power off

I unlocked this phone and the customer comes back with complaint that power button does not work.
Phone turns on with power button but after that power button is dysfuntional so you cannot cancel a call or power off phone
I flashed phone with different firmwares but problem remains.
Is this a hardware problem? But this seems to have happened after-unlock.

I'm around 98% sure this happened after direct unlock unless the customer is lying which I think not.
Any software solution please?
Thanks

USTPRO team ok the phone may have a hardware problem. That's a remote possibility, I'm quite certain this happened during unlock
So what's the solution. I tried with a variety of flashes from support without success
