P2K Tool Pds Repair. When does it work? - GSM-Forum

I have tried the PDS repair function on a couple of V3`s and a V551 with corrupt PDS areas. It hasn`t worked so far. When does it work? How does it work? I need to rebuild the PDS areas on these phones and can not with P2K Tool. Can someone give me a pointer to rebuild these? Why have it there if it always says invalid software? What is the practical use of it?

i had this problem with a V3 and tried many times to sort it but still no joy had to use Victor to repair it hopefully this small glitch will be rectified soon

I bought this instead of replacing a dead smart clip. I thought this was a working feature of the product. I will agree, good price. I`ll have to order another smart-clip but I don`t want to. Any online servers repair pds for credits?
