reviving boot-dead GD67


i want to revive a boot-dead GD67, i soldered the wires as in picture

but i wonder, should the phone be with or without battery ?

I checked, everything is ok

but there's no mention about should the phone be with or without battery

i mean will the phone-pcb powered by Jtag, or should it be powered with battery
