This byte response (07) you get only on phones from Telcel Mexico where entering codes is disabled.
More responses details:
08 - wrong code entered (in our case because of wrong TP cannot patch corectly flash on the fly)
0C - no more tries left (wrong counter at max. value)
55 - communication error (usualy when connect TP in wrong location

in the 5300 and 5200 you can't mistake why Appears the error 08 ? because the flash?

U need RPL to repair CONFIG KEY: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Use MT-Box to ask RPL, then unlock using your box. I think it will cost you 40 mt-box logs.

i have same problem too.. 6280 from 3 mobile error 07 and when i check config key was FFFFFFF. my questions is why this could happen? because someone without knowledge and device trying to unlock or what? thanks for info

Yes maybe some users damage SP datas of phone and maybe RAP damage.
