problem with 6300 unlock. support do anything - GSM-Forum

i have 6300 black with 6.01 sw and spansion ic.
always get "TP Failed... try again." erro in all supported versions 4.71, 4.71, 5.00 5.50.
is there any solution?
fix this bug support.

you must move GND near TP area and your phone will be unlocked

Sure. Somehing wrong changed. Now majority (70%) of 6300 cannot be unlocked by JAF.
It does not matter where to connect ground - closely near TP, 1 sm from TP, far from TP, or even leave ground clip unconnected.
Usually there are only two result: TP Failed... or Error 08.

Problem is that 6300 have a lot of different hardware/software inside. Unlock string must vary for every HW. Jaf supports only some of them, only very old 6300' hw versions. Until Jaf renew its ini's for new versions it is almost unusable for bb5 unlock.

i think that jaf can lose the part of gsm market, because very many bugs in soft. very many problems with bb5 unlock. bb5 is the future of nokia phones.
but support still sleeping, or ignore us

mt-lite is the best box for unlocking bb5

yes, i think mt is beter, because i unlock this phone by mt just in a few seconds.
his is not ur problem i think. this is a supports prob. because many people will read this topics and buy mtbox.
