It shouldn't overwrite the changes. As far as I know nothing ever touches the persist or persdata partitions (other than the program[s] that need to while Android is booted). Even if it comes back that's probably a sign that some part of the lock is also held in the efs data partitions. At which point the persist wipe should've given you enough time to enable DM+modem+adb, root the phone, and repair the IMEI. I'm 99% sure none of the EE Computrace lock lies within the efs. When it does...You're going to be challenged with something along the lines of a double/triple-persistent lock (lock contained in both efs and persist (+ persdata).

We can touch ALL partitions with root. We can clear all data out with root. We can hard brick out phones with root. There really isn't a lock that we cannot get to. Whether it's on the Java end of things or in the lower level (hackish) end of things. There's more than enough information within the last few pages to put it together for any model you have.

On NK3 ee branded not worked.

Yes only works with stock firmware not the EE branded firmware.
