Mates,I had to unlock one S5230.After one try with Z3X the set is dead.Dead boot!!!Now Im trying to repair boot for normal S5230,but it's always fail.So I tried with S5230M and voila!The set is in "Z3X repair mode"...But when i try to flash the set with multiloader,so I can revive it,am getting always "Serial port detect error".No matter the flash files that I choose:normal S5230,M,W and so on...after repairing boot (only with M),am getting always port error.I cant flash the set!Now what,mates?!Any ideas?

Restart PC - Atleast that i did and it fixed the serial port issues on multiloader

after repair boot phone can enter to download mode and in this mode you can flash your set using multiloader (z3x repair mode is only one step from repair boot process)

now i think is better to give log of boot repair operation to get more help form us.

Wait for download mode and connect to usb cable for flashig boot with multiloader....
Repair  - boot ok
Elapsed time: 33 second, sw ver: 3.5.0038

3.After point 2 the set is in "Z3X Mode for repair",so I have to full flash it.

4.My PC can see the set,Multiloader is detecting it,but:

Download Start Ch[0]
Bcmboot 55.1KB OK[0.2s]
Boot2 170.7KB OK[0.4s]
Patch_dsp 16.5KB OK[0.2s]
Sysparm_dep 6.2KB OK[0.2s]
Sysparm_ind 78.3KB OK[0.2s]
Wait reset !!
Serial port detect error!

Nomatter the modification I choose to flash-normal,M,W and so on...It's always "Serial port detect error" at this step...

Hm...It seems that Z3X is doing the boot trick,but I can't flash it.

By the way,little update on the mission.I managed to flash the set with Z3X,not multiloader,but it's still dead.I have no "download mode"also.

Any ideas why Z3X killed this S5230 and now I can't flash it?

one thing i am sure is:

1- z3x can repair this phone 100%

2- you are doing wrong thing.

3- contact with me at sonork ID: 1603443 and we will try to solve your problem and after this you can post here how it worked for you.

1.I've managed to bring back the "download mode" via JTAG,,but...
2.When I try to fullflash the set...you can see for yourself:

When I flash the set without bootloaders,the flash is done normally,but the set stucks on logo.That's normal,of course.I've tried with bootloaders/flashes for normal,M and W of S5230,but it fails...I have "download mode",but I can't flash the set!What the f...

Mate do you remember its original version ? If yest try to flash with its original version .

Once I had same problem and finally I find out that the phone was S5233T not S5233 and problem solved by flashing with the T version .

Hi,mate.
Actually,no,I don't.But even If I kill one S5230M,flashing it like S5230 normal,I can revive it with JTAG or Z3X boot repair and flash files for M,right?!It's just an example.The problem is that Im trying with almost all flashes-normal,M,W,but...you can see the situation,mate.Step by step.

try to lower your modem port number in device manager
this can happen when you have a big modem port number.
and also use another usb port (direct usb port not hub......)

try in another pc

you get your phone dead without download mode this mean you flashed wrong flash file.
if you can get download mode then try what i told you in first

and another thing you can do is knowing what firmware was in phone after he go to dead state.

for this look at z3x location

for me here is the directory C:\Program Files\Z3X\Samsung\All\LOG

PS: folder LOG not logs there are two folder so vecareful

in the mentioned folder you have text file and also picture screenshot you can see easly what firmware was in your phone in first time
