i have noticed phones that under status in DL mode say Official and Official but when flashed with Smartswitch for some reason it changes it to custom im like WTF!!! and after flashing it with Smartswitch it still sits on samsung logo even with hard reset performed wiping etc same crap......

sboot has been a godsend til i get the new Ultimate Multi tool

No need to get special tool ... Just make sure you READ before ROOTING go to USB Debugging and select OEM UNLOCK ...

if you have the 4 different parts from your stock firmware just flash AP and BL

for example

Samsung G928P "Sprint variant"
flash the highlighted section ...

AP_G928PVPU2AOI6.tar.md5
BL_G928PVPU2AOI6.tar.md5
CSC_G928PVPU2AOI6.tar.md5
CP_G928PVPU2AOI6.tar.md5

Download the firmware from "smart switch" and extract it with "Winrar"
sometimes you will get the FULL firmware and sometimes you will get
AP,BL,CP,CSC and even the .pit file

If you get the full firmware for example:

ALL_SPT_G928PVPU2AOI6_G928PSPT2AOI6_CL5733496_QB63 88977_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5

Very simple ...

Your AP will be = boot, recovery, system
Your BL will be = cm, param, sboot
Your CSC will be = cache, And you can throw in your .pit file
Your CP will be = modem
